DATAVIZ
INFOGRAPHIC
The brief was to choose a theme linked to sustainability and produce a data viz in the form of an A1 poster and an animation.

The topic I chose was the environmental impact of diamond mining.

This project drew inspiration from the graphics found in vintage mathematics and physics books. My primary aim in creating this data visualization was to craft something easily comprehensible, enabling people to grasp the underlying information effortlessly. The most challenging aspect of this endeavor involved not only understanding the information itself but also presenting it in a manner that resonates with the viewer's understanding.

The animation crafted in After Effects was inspired by the visual aesthetics often employed by Alva Noto in his videos. My intention was to produce a seamless visual experience that complements the experimental nature of the audio.
This project was completed using Indesign and After Effect during the semester course led by Marlis Zimmermann and Sophie Borloz.
